Know Me

Behind the Designer

Born and raised in the U.S., I learned about my Vietnamese heritage primarily through my family. Over time, I’ve grown to deeply appreciate my culture and have begun to weave it into my design work.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, drawing, playing video games, or wandering the aisles of Barnes & Noble—where, funny enough, much of my creative inspiration begins.

My Creative Process

Design Research

In the initial stages of any design project, I gather inspiration that aligns with the concept I am developing while also doing in depth research about my competitors. I find that studying competitor products also serves as a source of inspiration.

Creative Process

My design process tends to settle into something more structured, almost quietly strategic. I like to spread all my ideas out in front of me—almost like laying cards on a table—and see what possibilities reveal themselves.

FInal Touches

In the final stages of my design process, I create prototypes to better understand how my designs translate physically, using them as assets for photography and presentations.
